Fireworks are usually displays of celebration of an event. It is a mild explosion involving mild explosion devices of firework technique devices. The Chinese are supposed to have invented the fireworks, as early as 12th century A.D, to ward off evil spirits. Fireworks displays are usual in the celebration of festival like the Chinese New year day. It is also claimed that China is the biggest manufacturer and exporter of fireworks in the world.
For the people of India especially the southern state of Tamil Nadu, fireworks manufacture is not something new and as far exports are concerned Chinese are only rivals. It may surprise many people but the entire town in Tamil Nadu is engaged in manufacture of fireworks. It is concerned as a cottage industry but the turnover is enormous.
Fireworks have a special significance for the British people. In London, every year there is celebration called Dy–Fox day. Americans celebrate July 4, their national day with great displays of fireworks. These displays are greatly attended because they are very popular. Even though the Chinese are credited with the invention of fireworks, in it is initial phases it was used only for the celebration of royal tea and the reach. Only after the 14thcentury, the common man became eligible to celebrate event by use of fireworks.
